What Your Donation Will Do:
Sierra Vista relies on contributions to help with needs not covered by other funding sources. These are some of the things that recent monetary and in-kind donations were used for:

~ Playground equipment and curriculum at our Non-Public Schools for    emotionally disturbed children.

~ Birthday gifts for children in our group homes.

~ Holiday gifts for children who would otherwise have none.

~ Annual appreciation gifts and dinner for foster parents.

~ Back-to-school clothing and supplies for needy clients.

~ Participation by group home children in sports leagues, music lessons, swim lessons and honors outings.

~ Incentives given to clients and students for accomplishments and progress they have achieved.

~ Household items for families starting over due to domestic violence and/or drug abuse.

What Your Contributions Will Not Do:
Your contributions will NOT be used for rent, utilities, and other overhead expenses. Program salaries and other program personnel costs are covered by other funding sources, so contributions are NOT used to cover administrative costs. Fundraising dollars go directly to help the children and families we serve. Contributions are kept in a separate fundraising fund.
